Here's a typical example of Magic offered as entertainment.  Viewers are left asking themselves, is it REAL or is it all a clever TRICKERY? Each question poses a conundrum ... contemplation of which opens up a new level of possibilities ...  What are humans really capable of? Skill-wise ... or allying with hidden forces ... or are they another kind of human, different from the rest of us (or is it WE who are a restricted version?) 

So, today I came across this intriguing post by one of my favourite X accounts ... Brian Roemmele. It was this accompanying image that particularly caught my attention. You have trillions of obelisks living inside of you, and no knew till now. — Newly discovered organisms called obelisks are made up of tiny rings of genetic material. Obelisks can create their own proteins that are entirely new to science. The team named their proteins "oblins."
