Goethe asks something deeper: Is it alive?  A true idea doesn’t just survive analysis.  It unfolds.  It generates life.  It awakens new perception.  It proves itself through the transformation it creates in the human being.  This is why Goethe distrusted systems that were perfectly coherent yet inwardly sterile.  An idea can be flawless and still be dead.  For Goethe and Steiner, truth must be productive.  It must open new possibilities of seeing.  It must lead beyond itself.  This is why thinkers who agreed on nothing — Fichte, Hegel, Schopenhauer — still recognized something essential in Goethe.  His ideas were not doctrines. It's highly likely that I'm just getting crankier in my old ( read: wise 😎) years, but this deeply considered decision frees up a lot of energetic space for me. Now, I don't make videos for dopamine hits nor am I interested in monetising my channel, so I rarely pay any mind to the number of view or subscribers, or any other metric. I make videos on what I consider needs expressing.  However, being human, I'd get curious whenever I'd saw a notification of a new comment. And here are the patterns I've noticed: 1.
